NVIDIA has begun rolling out its Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the Tegra Note 7. The release brings everything you would expect from a Lollipop upgrade, plus improvements for stylus input, audio, display, and network connectivity.

You can check out what’s new in Android 5.1 in our hands-on video. Highlights include improvements to Quick Settings, including the ability to switch Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks in just a couple of taps; changes to volume controls; and anti-theft protection.

NVIDIA’s own changes include:

  • Updates to various “Lasso” and DirectStylus features
  • Miscellaneous audio, display, network fixes and optimizations
  • App compatibility fixes

The update weighs in at 446MB, and it’s rolling out to users over-the-air now. If you haven’t already received an update notification on your device, you can search for it manually from within the Software Update section in the Settings app.
