Netflix reveals first major TV app redesign since 2013

Netflix is rolling out a redesign for its TV app designed to get you streaming even faster. It’s the first time Netflix has revamped the user interface since its previous update back in 2013.

Once you’ve updated, you’ll find shows and movies will only take one click before you’re watching. The contextual menu, which allows you to navigate to other episodes or jump back to the beginning of the show, still exists, but it now floats above the content. That means Netflix has removed the extra step that previously sat between you and the latest episode of Orange is the New Black. Don’t worry, the menu will slowly fade away if you ignore it.

Keep an eye out for the redesign this week. It’s rolling out globally beginning Thursday and will hit “eligible devices” over the next few days.
