Moto X (2015) looks stellar in white and gold

There’s been a steady stream of Motorola leaks recently, showing us photos of the inbound Moto X (2015) and the new Moto G (2015). We’re already expecting heavy customization options for both phones, and a new photo posted Thursday shows us a look at the gold and white Moto X (2015). That suggests will be a new body accent color, and boy is this phone a looker.

I’m not usually fond of white smartphones; I’m one of the folks who prefers either something bold and bright, like neon green, or something more standard like black. But this is a phone I could see myself carrying; I really dig the gold accents that run along the side of the phone and then splash back up a bit around the camera and the flash. We also again see the 3.5mm headphone jack placed conveniently at the top of the phone next to what we presume is a SIM card tray, given that the Moto X (2015) isn’t expected to offer microSD card support.

HelloMotoHK posted this phone and dubbed it the Moto X³, we’re not sure if that’s the final name but it does reference it being the third generation smartphone. Definitely liking what I see so far. We should know the full details after Motorola’s event on July 28. Take a look at some earlier Moto X (2015) and Moto G (2015) leaks in the meantime:
