ASUS ZenFone 2e unveiled, costs just $120

by Jacob Kleinman | July 22, 2015

The ZenFone 2 is a powerful flagship phone at a fair price, but what if you’re looking for something even cheaper? There are plenty of budget-friendly options to choose from, and now ASUS is jumping into that market as well with the ZenFone 2e.

The new device packs a 5-inch 720p display, a dual-core Intel Atom processor, a 2500mAh battery, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage with microSD support up to 64GB. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop along with the company’s own ZenUI.

These might not be the most impressive specs, but the price seems fair. ASUS is charging just $119.99 for the ZenFone 2e. Then again, you may prefer paying $200 for the flagship ZenFone 2, which features a sharper display, a faster processor, more RAM and better cameras.

It’s available starting July 24 from AT&T, or at Best Buy beginning on¬†August 2.
