The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus may arrive as soon as next month, but early prototypes are already starting to trickle out. The latest leak, courtesy of NoWhereElse, shows Samsung’s alleged new smartphone next to its smaller curved sibling, the Galaxy S6 Edge.
The two devices look pretty similar, though the upcoming Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is noticeably wider. Along the bottom edge, the only change is the placement of the phone’s microphone, which now sits next to the headphone jack. The microphone has moved too, and the infrared sensor appears to be out of the picture.
A third photo of the phone’s settings screen reveals a few hardware specs. Just like its little brother, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus packs an Exynos 7420 processor and a Quad HD screen. We’re also expecting a larger 5.7-inch curved AMOLED panel, a 3700mAh battery, a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and 32GB of storage.
If we’re lucky, Samsung will unveil both the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the Galaxy Note 5 at an event allegedly set for August 12.
