Devil’s Third offers 30fps, no voice chat and no split screen

by Joey Davidson | July 17, 2015

Devil’s Third has been the talk of the town lately in the gaming world. This Wii U based action/shooter hybrid has been catching flack for relying on shock value, being bad, being good, being on the Wii U… you name it, folks have been talking about it.

Now we have a post from the Director Tomonobu Itagaki himself about the state of the game and what it will offer. The post if full of info, so if you’re particularly interested in Devil’s Third, hit the Facebook source link below. It’s all broken up on his Facebook wall, which he’s opned up to fans and friends, so you’ll have to do some scouring.

Itagaki hits all the points that gamers like to argue about online in one quick post for clarification. He reveals that the game is in 30fps, will not have split screen and no voice chat. His delivery is concise and, as far as I’m concerned, endearingly frank.

Frame rate: 30fps.
*note: I promise you can fully enjoy this MASSIVE shooter with 30 fps.

Split Screen: This game don’t have split screen feature for both offline and online play. ‘Cuz I used all the power of Wii U for single player. That was tough tradeoff for me. Plz understand.

Voice chat: We don’t equip voice chat feature. ‘Cuz we had maxed out its bandwidth to achieve online play by 16 users.

Yo Guys,
Don’t disappoint, and don’t be negative. I promise the wide/deep/brandnew playability for you guys today

Yo guys, don’t disappoint. I love it.

Are you looking forward to Devil’s Third? I’ll be honest, it’s not really in my wheelhouse.
