Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection features Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception all rolled up into a single PlayStation 4 package. It’s bound to release on October 8, 2015.
Gamers will have a chance to experience what’s being offered before that date, though. A demo for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is set to hit the PlayStation Store this summer, though we’re not sure exactly which games and which parts of those games are going to be playable.
The whole collection will put improvements upon each game. Mechanically, Uncharted 3 is a touch different than Uncharted 1. That means Bluepoint, the folks handling the port work, is set to push 3‘s mechanical improvements down to 2 and 1, so they’ll all play in a similar fashion.
That’s good news. I’d also like to see some of the gun battles in the later entries tweaked. They grew rather tiresome towards the back half of the Uncharted 3 campaign.
We’ll have more on this collection as it comes.
