Deadpool game once again available through Steam

Activision and High Moon Studio’s Deadpool game is back on Steam a full year and a half after it was pulled at the end of 2013. Disney and Activision ran into licensing disagreements with the title back then, however, now that Deadpool is back on everyone’s mind after Comic-Con, who’s to say that the two can’t cooperate and make a little profit with one another?

Those looking to buy the game on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 are out of luck. The game has only been put back on Steam for $39.99. No consoles allowed.

Not that it should matter too much. Deadpool launched to very mediocre reviews, and many were not exactly disappointed to see it go. Maybe enough time to let this game be seen as a misunderstood classic?

But most likely, it’s just two mega-corporations looking to capitalize on the talk of the moment. Either way, it’s there if you want it. Deadpool is funny, but the game he stars in is anything but.
