Pushbullet update makes texting from your PC even easier

Pushbullet just rolled out a massive update last month, but the company isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Instead, it just pushed out a new feature for PCs that makes texting from your desktop even better than before.

Responding to text messages from your computer is nothing new for Pushbullet, but moving forward the company wants to make it an “amazing experience.” That means a brand new system that syncs between phone and PC so you can pick up a conversation on any device. The entire interface has also been updated too, so it’s easy to find a particular conversation and even scroll through your history.

Finally, the company notes that everything still travels through your smartphone no matter where you send it from. That means your friends won’t know you’re texting them from a computer. It also means each message counts as a regular SMS.

To take advantage of Pushbullet’s update, you’ll need to upgrade your Android phone to the latest version of the app. The update requires Android 4.4 or higher, but that shouldn’t be an issue for most devices.
