A site named Tecmundo said recently that it has learned of Motorola’s plans to introduce the Moto G (2015) at an event in São Paulo, Brazil. It’s not out of the question: Motorola has held events in Brazil before, and South America is a huge market for the company. It’s possible there will be another event held in the United States, too, though Tecmundo doesn’t mention it. The device is expected to launch on the same day.
Tecmundo mentions the same specs that earlier rumors have pointed to, including a 5-inch 720p display, a Snapdragon 410 processor and a 13-megapixel camera. 8GB and 16GB versions are apparently planned, with microSD support included.
This is still very much a rumor, but we do believe Motorola is going to announce its new phones in the very near future.
