Rumors of a Huawei-made Nexus phone have been bouncing around for a while now, but a new leak reveals just how awesome the alleged smartphone could be. The latest details comes from EvLeaks, who has a pretty good track record when it comes to leaking new smartphones.
Huawei Nexus sounds impressive so far: 5.7" QHD w/ metal body, SD820 SoC, fingerprint reader. Ships Q4.

We already expected the device to pack a 5.7-inch display, though that Quad HD resolution is new information. The device will also apparently feature a premium metal frame and Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 820 chip. The fingerprint reader is also news, though it doesn’t come as much of a surprise since it’s already a key feature of Android M.
We’re also expecting the new Nexus phablet to pack a 3500mAh battery, which should be more than enough to get you through the day. A reversible USB-C port seems guaranteed as well considering Google’s recent emphasis on the technology.
Rumor has it Google will also unveil a smaller LG-made Nexus phone at the same time. The device allegedly packs a 5.2-inch display a 2700mAh battery and a Snapdragon 808 processor. It may also feature a totally new design rather than rehashing a current LG phone.
Google isn’t expected to reveal any new Nexus gadgets until late 2015 when it releases the final build of Android M. That typically happens near the end of October, so we’ve still got a few more months before the rumored phones get an official unveiling.
