Bandai Namco wants its upcoming Tales of Zestiria to be a hit on PC, hoping to further justify the series’ expansion beyond consoles. In fact, it wants it to succeed so badly that it has promised to throw in a free copy of Tales of Symphonia’s recently announced PC port to those who pre-order!
Free game! Here’s the catch though. Enough people have to do it to justify Bandai Namco’s decision. The company has set three tiers of pre-order bonuses, releasing new content with each tier raised. Both the first and second tier have been cleared with new swords and costumes for both male and female character available in Tales of Zestiria.
It is the third tier that everybody wants: the free copy of Tales of Symphonia, far and away the best pre-order bonus of any game from the last few years.
It currently sits at four percent of what is needed to make it a reality, but with the release of Tales of Zestiria coming in October, it should have enough time to happen before then. Tales of Zestiria is coming to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 as well
You’ll have plenty of time to play it before Tales of Symphonia since that will be released on the PC in 2016.
