The Apple Store is down ahead of an expected iPod refresh. According to numerous reports, dating back as far as the launch of iTunes 12.2 when Apple showed pictures of new iPod colors, Apple is going to update its family of iPods with new colors and more.

The biggest change most consumers should expect is a new iPod touch with a 64-bit processor, an 8-megapixel camera, a new 128GB capacity option and more, 9to5Mac said earlier on Wednesday. The iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod shuffle are expected to launch in new blue, gold and pink color options, too.

We’ll let you know when the store is back.

Update: It’s back and new iPods are here.
