Crypt of the NecroDancer bound for PS4 and PS Vita

Crypt of the NecroDancer can, if you like, be played with a DDR pad on the PC. I’m not exactly sure how the hook-ups work there, but it’s a thing that I’ve seen people do at convention centers.

I’ve only played it with a gamepad on the PC, never a dancing pad. The good news is that my gamepad style of play is about to expand to two more platforms below the Sony banner. Crypt of the NecroDancer is coming to the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

This game tasks players with moving through a randomly generated dungeon with roguelike conditions, killing enemies, snatching loot and beating bosses. The catch? It all has to be done to the rhythm of the music. Moves, attacks, everything has to be done to the beat.

It’s actually pretty challenging, and I see it as perfect for an evening on the PS Vita with some headphones plugged in.

The title does not have a release date yet. We also don’t know if it’ll be a part of the Cross-Buy service.
