PlayStation Network Super Hero Sale! Batman, Spider-Man… Mega Man?

Super Hero Sale

Sony is throwing a massive sale for all things “super hero” on the PlayStation Store. All of your classic favorites are here with games slashed to a fraction of the price! Batman! Spider-Man! Mega Man?

Fist we have Batman, and you can snag up Batman: Arkham Asylum for $8, Batman: Arkham Origins for $10, and both LEGO Batman 2 and 3 for $8 and $17.99 respectively. Stick with Arkham Asylum if you are one of the three people who hasn’t played it yet. Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate goes for $10 on the Vita, followed by its ports of LEGO Batman 2 and 3 for $8 and $11.99.

Then we have Spider-Man, with both the The Amazing Spider-Man Gold Edition and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Gold Edition slashed to $20 on the PS Vita, $25 on the PlayStation 3, and  $30 on the PlayStation 4.

And of course, we can’t have a super hero sale without Injustice: Gods Among Us either dropped to $11.99 across all three platforms.

Then… we start to dive into very liberal definitions of the word “super hero,” but who am I to complain when it is none other than Mega Man joining the fun?

I mean, he might not be a “super hero” in the American comic book sense, but he is “my” hero and has always taken preference over Batman, Spider-Man, and that whole crew! He also stars in the best games on sale here with Mega Man 9, Mega Man X4, and Mega Man X5 taking the prize as the absolute best. Mega Man 10 and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X are also solid enough games to give a glance at.

Capcom obviously thinks its whole line-up deserves the title of “super hero” with DmC Devil May Cry, the excellent Devil May Cry HD Collection, Strider, and even Bionic Commando ReArmed 1 and 2 joining in. I mean, the Bionic Commando’s name is Rad Spencer, so he MUST be a super hero, yeah?

There is a few great bargains here, but the real gems are Batman: Arkham Asylum and Capcom’s classics. Be sure to check out the sale, and I recommending dropping a few coins on the first Bionic Commando ReArmed. That’s such a sweet game for just $3!
