Tekken 7 localization confirmed, location test areas and first tournament revealed

And here is our major July 7 Tekken 7 announcement promised to us by Bandai Namco. The Japanese publisher has confirmed that its arcade fighting game will be localized for foreign shores! Tekken has always proven to be an international franchise, so it was only a matter of time really. Location tests will begin this month in the following locations:

In addition to the location tests, Bandai Namco has also announced the first official Tekken 7 tournament, “King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015.” $80,000 in prizes could be yours.

No exact date on the location tests or full arcade release in North America, but keep an eye out for them if you live in those areas. And again, we have not yet been given any details on the home console versions.
