Batman: Arkham Knight’s Batgirl DLC hits July 14

Batgirl DLC featured

While Rocksteady is hard at work throwing wrenches and screwdrivers at the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight, hoping desperately that something starts working, a separate team at WB Games Montreal, the studio behind Batman: Arkham Origins, is putting the finishing touches on the first for the game’s season pass installments.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family is nearly finished, and now WB Games and Rocksteady gave it a date and price.

The game is set prior to the events of the original Arkham game and is set in an all-new location with, according to the press release, “mulitple missions, sidequests, and secrets,” as well as a new hacking mini-game. The pack will sport the same dual-play gameplay we saw in Arkham Knight – one of our favorite parts of the game – with Robin as the dual-play partner.

If you’re playing the game on console, it’ll be available July 14 as part of the season pass or separately on July 21 for $6.99. No word yet on when we’ll see it for PC, though officially the PC version of the Arkham Knight game is listed as “available in the coming weeks” by the announcement.
