Sony Xperia Z3+ now available from Amazon in the U.S.

Sony fans who are still waiting for the new Xperia Z3+ to arrive in the U.S. can now purchase the device from Amazon. A number of sellers are offering it for around $645, but you’ll have to pay a small premium if you want the Copper color option.

The Xperia Z3+, as its name suggests, is an improved version of last year’s Xperia Z3. It looks very similar, but it is slimmer (6.9mm vs. 7.3mm) and lighter, and remains water-resistant despite the removal of its micro-USB cover door.

The Xperia Z3+ also carries the same 5.2-inch 1080p display as its predecessor, but it’s powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 810 processor, and has twice as much internal storage as standard (32GB).

Other internals include a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing Exmor camera, 3GB of RAM, a 2,930mAh battery, and a microSD card slot. The device comes with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop pre-installed.

The Xperia Z3+ has only been officially launched in Europe (and Japan as the Xperia Z4), but thanks to several sellers on Amazon, the device is now available to customers in the U.S. Prices start at around $645 for the Black, White, and Aqua Green models, while the Copper version is around $660.

Bear in mind that these are GSM devices, so they will only work on AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S.
