Big day of news for BlackBerry fans. First we got wind that the upcoming BlackBerry Venice, a rumored Android-powered slider phone, is going to land on AT&T as an exclusive. Now we’re getting our first look at the alleged handset, compliments of Evan Blass aka @evleaks.

The image you see above is reportedly the BlackBerry Venice that we’ve been hearing so much about, and boy is it a looker. We don’t actually see the slide-out mechanism or the keyboard, but we can clearly see Android running on the render (this isn’t an actual photo, but you get the idea.) It also shows what appears to be BlackBerry’s intentions to allow a full version of Google’s operating system, complete with Google Play Services —note Google Maps, Chrome, Hangouts, the search bar and the standard Android buttons at the bottom.
Some reports had suggested BlackBerry’s Android smartphone was actually going to be a low-powered device, and that the Venice was going to be a more premium BlackBerry 10 smartphone. This seems to suggest the opposite. Rumor has it the BlackBerry Venice will hit sometime in November.
