Star Wars Battlefront Alpha gameplay footage spills in huge leak

There’s a closed Alpha going on for Star Wars Battlefront. I’m not in it. Odds are, the vast majority of you reading this post right now aren’t in it either. That doesn’t mean it’s not available, of course. The Alpha has leaked onto torrent sites, and that means gameplay footage is pouring out from all sides. We have three separate videos from All Games Beta in this post alone. Two battles occur on Hoth, and the one you see above goes down on what I assume is Tatooine. The three videos peppered into this post all come from the Alpha. With the Alpha out, some gamers have been trawling through the game’s code in order to identify weapons and vehicles. This list was done up by the folks on NeoGAF, and it really only provides a glimpse at what’s available in the Alpha alone.

Here is a list of weapons in the closed alpha that i was about get out so far via the weapons.sb file

  • E11
  • A280
  • DH17
  • DL44
  • DLT19
  • DLT20a
  • EE3 (most likely for Boba Fett Only)
  • Rocket Launcher
  • SE14c
  • T21

Vehiles so far but i guess we already know

  • T-65 X-wing
  • Tie Fighter
  • Lambda Shuttle
  • Y-wing
  • Tie-Bomber(found a link to this in one of the files but don’t think it’s in the Closed Alpha)
  • Corellian Corvette
  • Nebulon B Frigate
  • ISD (Imperial Star Destroyer)
  • Mon Calamari Capital Ship
  • Home One (Admiral Ackbar’s Ship)
  • ATST
  • AT-AT
  • Tie Interceptor (found a link to this in one of the files but don’t think it’s in the Closed Alpha)
  • 74-Z Speeder Bike (found a link to this in one of the files but don’t think it’s in the Closed Alpha)

That’s a pretty solid rundown that basically only fellow Star Wars nerds will be able to digest. Bask in it, my friends. Star Wars Battlefront is due to release on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 17, 2015. Stay tuned for more on the game as we have it.
