Visceral’s Star Wars game similar to Uncharted and Star Wars 1313, says Nolan North

EA Visceral, the studio behind the Dead Space games, has long been believed to be working on a Star Wars title ever since EA picked up exclusivity on the licence. Along the way, it snagged up Uncharted writer Amy Hennig and has scored the approval of famous voice actor Nolan North.

Speaking at panel at Metrocon 2015, via mrgeekmeout’s YouTube channel, North states that Hennig is still “very, very dear friend,” and that her Star Wars game is very impressive, channeling Uncharted and the canceled Star Wars 1313.

“If you’re a big fan of Amy Hennig and what her style is, the big thing about her is that she’s gone to EA and is going to reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise, in the style of Uncharted.

And I happen to know a lot about it, and it’s going to be awesome.”

He would go on to clarify that it is a totally different game from Star Wars 1313, but follows many similar design choices.

I’ve never been that big on the Uncharted games, but I do like Dead Space. Of course, I also like Star Wars. It sounds pretty interesting, and I’ll be keeping an eye out for more leaks and news.
