Disney releases its own GIF keyboard app for iOS

GIF keyboards are a lot of fun. I love pulling up a quick clip to share over text message when words fail me. Now Disney is getting in on the action with a new app for iOS

Disney GIF offers access to hundreds of the fun little animations. You can search through different movies, with specific sections for classics like The Lion KingAladdin and Beauty and the Beast along with newer hits like Frozen, Pixar features and ABC television shows. You can also find the right GIF based on emotions including “happiness,” “anger” and “yuck.”

The app is free, though you’ll need a device running iOS 8.0 or newer, and the iPhone 4s apparently didn’t make the cut. Disney also promises to add more GIFs in the future, so you’ll be able to share clips from your favorite new movie.
