Remember when Joss Whedon warned us there would be no end credits scene in Age of Ultron? How disappointing was that? Good news: Marvel isn’t going to repeat that when Ant-Man comes out next month.
According to io9, Ant-Man will contain two credit scenes, including one at the very end. And all is right in the world.
It’s unclear what these scenes will actually be. They’re usually small glimpses at what to expect in the future, so perhaps they’ll help set up the events of Civil War, or, just maybe, the scenes will give us the tiniest hint of what to expect with something like Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Maybe a character nod?
I won’t spoil any other end credit scenes for you guys. In the past, they have been very important to the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe, so you’ll want to pay attention.
Just this week, Ant-Man director Peyton Reed said that the movie has officially been completed, which is just in time, too, because the film’s premiere is happening next Monday in Los Angeles (and we’ll be there!).
Ant-Man will hit theaters on July 17.
