Dying Light developer TechLand is inspiring fans to push back against Activision’s and Bungie’s marketing deal with Red Bull. If you haven’t heard yet, the corporate duo have introduced a controversial campaign in which if you buy a Red Bull over the summer, you’ll be able to use a code to get experience points and exclusive missions.
This news already comes at a rough PR time for Destiny as Bungie and Activision are having a hard time selling gamers on the idea of exclusive content through the Collector’s Edition, and TechLand just had to go and make it worse!
Instead of Red Bull, TechLand wants you to take a picture of yourself drinking a glass of cool, refreshing ice water and post it on Twitter with the proper hashtags. Those that do this will get a code for a free premium weapon in the near future.

Yes, this is real too. I’d say it’s wrong to kick a man when he is down, but that rule says nothing about pouring a glass of water on his head, instead.
