OnePlus One gets new CyanogenMod 12 build

Good news for OnePlus owners who are running CyanogenMod 12: there’s an update rolling out now that fixes several issues that users have been complaining about. And we didn’t think the OnePlus One could get much better.

News of the update surfaced on XDA-Developers recently, which listed all of the fixes that users can expect. You should find that the touchscreen sensitivity has improved, that the phone will now connect properly to in-car entertainment systems through Bluetooth, and that MMS now works on carriers where it wasn’t otherwise functioning properly.

Sure, those are relatively small updates, but that MMS bug and touchscreen issues could have been particularly annoying. That’s the sort of stuff that just needs to work.

We’ve included a link to the XDA thread in the source below, where you can download the full build or grab the OTA link. The post notes that “this is NOT” the CM12.1 update we’ve been waiting for, however, so you’ll still find it with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
