Well, Sony certainly started off its E3 presentation with a bang, didn’t it? Doesn’t get any bigger than that. It took a while, and by that, I mean over half a decade, but Sony finally got around to showing off Japan Studios’ one game we never thought we’d see again, The Last Guardian.
I know, I’m just as shocked as you, even after being assured it would happen.
Yup, in the feathery flesh! There it was, on screen, with a beautiful trailer to prove that Sony hadn’t given up on this giant winged Chihuahua after after. Fumito Ueda’s name in the credits. A young kid running around who doesn’t speak English. Just where we left off last time, It’s like the last six or seven years never happened!
Now we just have to wait another six or seven years to see it again, yeah? Or maybe not, Sony claims that it will be available on the PlayStation 4 in 2016. I’ll believe it when its in my digital hands.
