Transformers: Devastation leaked ahead of E3, and I am 10 again

Activision is set to reveal a new Transformers game according to an anonymous source speaking to Pure Xbox titled Transformers: Devastation.

The source provided the screenshots above and said that the game is definitely heading to the Xbox 360 and likely to launch this year. It seems unlikely that the game would only launch for a dying platform (even if there are millions of Xbox 360s still out there and in use) when there are growing platforms as well. Not to mention that this is Activision, a company not known for sticking to one platform if they don’t have to. We’re expecting to see this at least going to Xbox One as well, if not PlayStation platforms as well.

The game looks to be a brawler, possibly multiplayer, though that is pure speculation at this point.

Pure Xbox speculates that this could be the secret game set to be revealed by Platinum. With their Legend of Korra game hitting just last year and having also been published by Activision, this isn’t a ridiculous idea by any means.

While the backgrounds in these screenshots are pretty uninteresting, the cel-shaded Autobots and Decepticons look awesome and make me feel like a 10-year-old again.

We’re looking forward to seeing what Activision has to say about Transformers: Devastation in just a couple days at E3.
