Ubisoft calls on Assassin’s Creed fans to playtest Syndicate

If you’re an Assassin’s Creed veteran, Ubisoft wants your help with this year’s title, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.

The developer will be hosting a touring invitation-only show to get feedback from fans, but not just anyone can get in. The first of these is set to take place in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday, June 17 – right in the middle of E3. If you’re in the area and the type of person who remembers that the assassin’s creed is “nothing is true, everything is permitted” without having to check Google (and you’re at least 17 years of age), you can send an email to playtestroadshow@ubisoft.com including your name, age, and 100 words or less about your experience with Assassin’s Creed games to try to get in on the action.

Between dropping features like multiplayer and companion apps and touring the game to fans, Ubisoft is making a pretty big good faith effort to get this game out in front of people more. It is, of course, meant to build hype as well, but having it in so many hands will make it a lot tougher to control the public relations message the way they usually do. If the game is busted again, it’s going to be easier for people to find out ahead of time.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate releases Oct. 23 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
