Snapchat update lets you switch cameras on the fly

Snapchat issued an update on Tuesday that lets you easily partake in the snaps you’re recording. Now, instead of having to stop filming to switch between your front and rear facing cameras, you can do so on the fly.

The latest version of the Snapchat application, now available for iOS and Android, allows you to double tap the screen to quickly swap between your selfie camera and the back of your phone, allowing you to take part in the action you’re recording.┬áThe update also includes some other new, albeit smaller, features. A new “Battery filters” feature shows how much juice you have, in case someone is expecting a snap in return and your phone is about to die. It also supports login verification; an SMS text will be sent each time you log into your account from a new device so that you can verify your identity.

Hit the source to download the latest version of Snapchat now.
