GOG Summer Sale 2015

Steam isn’t the only gaming marketplace with seasonal sales that see prices dip to crazy lows. GOG.com is kicking of the 2015 DRM-Free Summer Sale as you read these words.

The press release came over yesterday afternoon, and that brought wind of the sale’s starting time. The sale runs from June 3 until June 21 at 11:59am GMT. That’s 18 days of discounts reaching 90%, and the bundles and games offered will change daily.

For the first day, we have The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at 10% off, Jade Empire at 80% off and the Lucasfilms Adventures at 66% off. That’s the tip of the iceberg.

The GOG 2015 DRM-Free Summer Sale also has a small pile of rewards for money spent. If you spend at least $1, you’ll get a free copy of SimCity 2000. If you spend at least $20, you’ll get a free copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. Finally, if you spend at least $50, you’ll get a free copy of Xenonauts. I’ve never played the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, but I do love SimCity 2000 and Xenonauts.

I love all kinds of sales, but the GOG ones are always an awesome place to sink into nostalgia for cheap.
