Universal Studios Hollywood on Tuesday announced The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will officially open in the Spring of 2016. The attraction’s opening will complement the same magical Harry Potter worlds that are already open in Orlando and Osaka.

The main icon will be Hogwarts castle, which sits at the heart of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter; it’ll house the land’s signature ride, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, which takes attendees through many of Harry Potter’s most memorable adventures, including a Quidditch match. The ride itself, while exhilarating enough for Harry Potter fans, is actually notable for its technology. Not only does it feature a state-of-the-art robotics system, but a pivoting 360-degree experience, along with 3D action.

What makes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter so special is its attention to detail. In addition to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, the land also features Flight of the Hippograph, and a number of famous shops from the Harry Potter franchise including Honeydukes, Ollivander’s Wand Shop, and Dervish and Banges. Basically, if you’re an avid Harry Potter fan, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is heaven on Earth.

More immediate plans at Universal Studios Hollywood include the arrival of a ride based on the Fast & Furious franchise.
