Japan wins with incredible Hotline Miami box art

Hotline Miami Japan

Spike Chunsoft is the prime importer of many Western games in Japan, most recently throwing its weight behind The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Another game it has chosen to support is the indie sensation Hotline Miami and its sequel, Hotline Miami 2, and if the country were to judge the game by its cover, it would simply be the best thing ever.

This “Collected Edition” packs the two violent games together in a single physical package for the PS Vita. Hopefully, store clerks are smart enough to keep this horrid sight out of the reach of children. The colors are just perfect enough to allure innocent Japanese girls to it. A cute pink game, wow… BLARG! Bloody chicken in your face! A screech to mommy, a fight at customer service, and a night of insomnia or bloody chicken induced nightmares.

This ain’t no Legend of Heroes or idol maker game. This chicken will bash your skull in with that bat if you aren’t careful. I’d buy the game just for the box art if Japan didn’t rip off its gaming audience with unfair prices.
