Guitar Hero Lives adds more metal and rock tracks

Activision has announced ten more tracks for us to look forward to when Guitar Hero Live hits this fall. The tracks, announced via the game’s Facebook page, are more rock-focused than the last set.

Instead of stuff like Skrillex and The Lumineers, we get the following:

  • Halestorm – “Love Bites (So Do I)”
  • Tenacious D – “Tribute”
  • Beartooth – “I Have A Problem”
  • Pearl Jam – “Mind Your Manners”
  • Rise Against – “Tragedy + Time”
  • Soundgarden – “Been Away Too Long”
  • Anthrax – “Got The Time”
  • Architects – “Gravedigger”
  • Chevelle – “The Clincher”
  • A Day To Remember – “Right Back At It Again”

Last week saw Royal Blood, Marilyn Manson, Killswitch Engage, Marmozets, Of Mice & Men, Deftones, Vista Chino, Bring Me the Horizon, Mastodon, and Trivium added to the list. This is starting to look less like a “something for everybody” list and more like a hard rock list with a few gimmes thrown in for people who might not be as into metal as a hardcore Guitar Hero fan.

We’ll presumably find out more when news starts rolling out in a couple weeks at E3. Guitar Hero Live releases this fall for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 later this year.
