Must be hard being so good at what you do that people will pay to see you suffer! A player by the name of Gonzalo “Zero” Barrios is a pro when it comes to using Diddy Kong in Super Smash Bros. So much so that he has scored a first place ranking in a whopping 34 1-on-1 tournaments in a row!
In response to his wild success, spectators are joining the fray to bring him down by offering a substantial reward for the one who defeats him in an upcoming fighting tournament.
Alex Jebailey, founder of the Orlando fighting game tournament Community Effort Orlando, has offered $250 to the player who can knock Barrios out in fair play. This reward comes on top of the $1,000 a player can get for winning the tournament. Smashboards.com owner Chris Brown also threw in an offer of $250.

Jebailey has stated that he has respect for Barrios, and that he has hosted bounties against other talented players in the past. Nothing personal, just business. In fact, I’d wear it like a badge of honor if someone thought I was worth the money.
Barrios himself seems like a bit of a trash talker on social media, but as far as I’m concerned, if you nab 1st place in 34 straight tournaments, you’ve earned the right to lay it on thick. He’s also taking this bounty in a sporting mood and seems to be up to the challenge.
HELL NO. Not letting this happen. https://t.co/tthSo5YVLY

What do you think? Have what it takes to bring him down? Show up to the Community Effort Orlando fighting tournament, and the $500 could be yours. I only hope that in some form of universal poetic justice that whoever does bring down Barrios is controlling Samus when doing so.
