Apple Watch bands start arriving in stores

You won’t be able to buy an Apple Watch in person until next month, but the first official bands are already available in some stores. A photo sent to MacRumors shows the Sport Band on display for purchase at an Apple Store in Miami.

According to 9to5Mac, the same bands will likely be available at most Apple Stores later this week, though supply may be limited. Initial stock will apparently be reserved for anyone interested in swapping their current wrist band for a new one, or to replace worn-out demo units. Any leftover bands may be up for grabs to people planning to pick up a second or third option.

If you’re interested in trading in your current Apple Watch band for something new it may be worth heading to your local Apple Store now to see what’s available. But with limited stock expected it might make more sense to hold tight until the wrist bands are more plentiful.
