EA Sports has started taking the wraps off of this years NHL entry. The word comes from their official site, and we have a few bits about what to expect. First of all, NHL 16 will only sell on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The 360 and PS3 consoles will go without an entry.
We are, unfortunately, without footage or screenshots. EA provides none. The images you see above are from NHL 15.
What’s returning and changed in NHL 16? Here we go.
The EASHL, the online level-driven league that pitted teams and players against one another, is back. Pick a position, join a club and win each season. Or not, you know, whatever. This was a big gap in NHL 15 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but now it’s here.
They also promise a way to play for everyone.
Whether you’re an armchair GM, want to live out your NHL pro fantasy, or build your ultimate dream team, NHL 16 will deliver a single-player game mode for every type of hockey fan – each with new features that you’ve never seen in EA SPORTS NHL.
We have an appointment to check out what’s on tap from EA at E3 this year. We will be seeing this game, so stay tuned for more.
