by Todd Haselton | May 18, 2015May 18, 2015 10:20 am PDT

The LG G4 officially begins its international debut this week, as store shelves around the world begin stocking LG’s latest flagship Android smartphone. LG said Monday that customers in Hong Kong should find it first, followed by official launches in Singapore, Russia and Turkey.

It wasn’t specific in timing, but LG also said the G4 will soon launch in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, Middle East/Africa South and Central America and CIS. In total, more than 180 carriers will sell the smartphone, LG said. LG and its U.S. carrier partners haven’t provided exact shipping dates for the U.S. launch, though it’s largely expected to be widely available in late May or early June.

We recently published our LG G4 review, and found that it did a good job at nailing the fundamentals of what’s important in a smartphone, such as the camera. We’ll let you know when we have more information on specific U.S. launch details.
