The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt isn’t even two weeks away at this point. The game is hotly anticipated, and hype is at a fever pitch. We’re getting, almost daily, a new trailer showing off some feature or another in the game.
Today we have the Rage & Steel trailer, which puts heavy emphasis on the game’s combat, showing off Geralt’s many moves against both humans and monsters, including swordplay with dismemberment, shoulder checking, and use of Signs (A Witcher’s equivalent of a spell). We get to see some great detailed gameplay of how Geralt’s powerful protege Ciri will fight as well, with her ability to blink in and out of real space.
What you might miss if you’re not paying attention, is just how many outfits Geralt sports in this short trailer. He tries out armor, short sleeves, form fitting clothing, something a bit looser. While every player will play as Geralt, CD Projekt Red has put some emphasis on how much we’ll be able to customize Geralt’s hair, beard, clothing, and accessories, and it looks like we’ll have lots of options.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt hits PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 19.
