Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains officially has its first western release date. The game will sell on May 12 for the Nintendo 3DS, and it’ll carry the standard $39.99 price tag.
Unfortunately for our European readers looking to bring down Titans with crazy swords and insane zip-lining, that May 12 release date is for the U.S. only. Atlus announced on their Facebook page that they don’t have a release date for Humanity in Chains in Europe just yet.
In other European news for the game, the “Attack on Titan” name is actually under copyright in the region. That means Atlus had to drag out the Romanji version of the Japanese name and roll with (what I think is more awesome) SHINGEKI NO KYOJIN: Humanity in Chains.
I can dig that one, folks.
Finally, both European and American purchasers of Humanity in Chains will snag a free Nintendo 3DS theme (seen below) when they buy the game. That’s a win for both regions.
