The Oppo R7 is set to make its official debut next month, and now it’s been cleared for landing in China. The upcoming smartphone was spotted on TENAA’s certification site by GizmoChina, revealing a bit more about the Oppo R7.
It looks like the new phone will sport dual SIM car slots along with LTE support. We’re also expecting a 4.7-inch 1080p display, a 20-megapixel rear camera, an octa-core MediaTek processor and a 2000mAh battery. The company may unleash an Oppo R7 Plus with a larger screen and a bigger battery as well.
The real star of the show will likely be those super-thin bezels. Based on leaked photos and video of the Oppo R7, we’re expecting a nearly edge-to-edge display. The device also appears to sport a pretty sleek metal frame.
Oppo is all set to unveil the R7 sometime in May, though we still don’t know exactly when or where. We’re guessing the official event will happen in China where the company is based, though hopefully we won’t have to wait too long for the new phone to arrive here in the U.S.
