‘Spectre’ video shows off the movie’s amazing supercars

Aside from a few images and a brief teaser trailer, we haven’t seen much from Spectre. However, one thing that has been constant—and, frankly, a pretty fun way to keep up with the film—is a series of behind the scenes vlogs from the movie’s set. The latest vlog was unleashed on Thursday, and it focuses on a car chase in Rome between two gorgeous supercars.

James Bond films have always been about action, adventure and espionage. But they’ve also been about style and cutting edge technology, so it’s only natural for the film to feature the Aston Martin DB10 and Jaguar C-X75. And, boy, do they look amazing in action.

The video is short, but it actually give us some insight into the character of Mr. Hinx, who is being played by Guardian of the Galaxy’s Dave Bautista. But, come on, this video isn’t about the actors, it’s about the cars.

“I love the idea of this fantastic car being in a one-on-one battle with another incredible car from Jaguar, which is similarly extraordinary,” said Sam Mendes, who is directing Spectre.

Bautista said the scene featured in the vlog will go on to be one of the franchise’s most iconic.

“Just with the two cars racing through the streets of Rome—I mean, how often do you see that?” Bautista said.

If you like technology and beautiful supercars, you’ll want to check out the video above.
