Apple Watch said to offer Apple Store app soon

Apple is reportedly working to add support for the Apple Store into the Apple Watch. That means, when you want to quickly order an iPad or pick up a new Mac, you might soon be able to do so right from your wrist.

News of the development was reported by 9to5Mac on Monday, which said that Apple will likely require users to make “more complicated” purchases from another device, but that customers will still be able to shop for some products right from their wrists. It seems plausible, then, that one might be able to pick up a specific model of computer, phone, or tablet, from the Apple Watch, while special configurations might still require a computer.

9to5Mac said that the Apple Store application for the Apple Watch should be available sometime this summer, when the Apple Watch eventually is available for purchase from Apple’s retail locations.
