Alcatel One Touch Pop Astro hits T-Mobile

Alcatel on Wednesday announced that its latest device, the One Touch Pop Astro, is now available from T-Mobile for $0 down. The launch follows a rumor earlier this week suggesting T-Mobile was about to release the phone.

The most compelling part of the One Touch Pop Astro is its price. It’s available for $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $6.24, or for $149.76 outright. The Astro offers relatively low-end specs, including a 4.5-inch qHD display (not to be confused with Quad HD), a 5-megapixel camera, a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 4GB of storage, 1GB of RAM and a 1.5GHz quad-core processor.

Sure, it’s not the most powerful phone on the block, but for someone who needs a new device on a budget that still supports features like Wi-Fi calling, it might not be a bad bet. Hit the source for more information.
