LG G4 vs. OnePlus One spec shootout

by Jacob Kleinman | April 28, 2015April 28, 2015 10:20 am PDT

The OnePlus One was our favorite phone of 2014, but can it still compete a year after first hitting the market? Let’s see how it compares to the just-announced LG G4.

When it comes to pure specs the OnePlus One can’t really compete. It offers a 1080p display compared to the G4’s Quad HD screen. It also packs an outdated Snapdragon 801 processor and an underpowered 13-megapixel camera.

Of course there are other factors to consider. The OnePlus One is still a pretty awesome deal, starting at just $300 off-contract. Additionally, it offers easy access to the latest version of Cyanogen OS, along with the phone-maker’s own OxygenOS. Both are great options that we generally prefer over LG’s in-house Android UI.

When it comes to pure hardware though the LG G4 is the clear winner. Here’s our full spec-by-spec breakdown.
