LG G4 vs. iPhone 6 spec shootout: Two flagships that couldn’t be more different

Apple’s iPhone 6 doesn’t have the latest and greatest specs, but it’s a solid device that offers a well-rounded experience. It was never going to win a spec battle against something like the LG G4, but that’s not stopping us from comparing the two.

There are a lot of differences here, but the biggest thing to remember is that these two phones are running completely different operating systems; one is running Android 5.1, and the other is running iOS 8. That will ultimately determine which device you’ll choose, but there are some other aspects to keep in mind as well.

For instance, the G4 offers both expandable storage and a removable battery, while the iPhone 6 does not. The iPhone 6 does, however, offer a more compact design and fingerprint scanner; the iPhone 6 also plugs into a lot of really great Apple services; the G4 is at the mercy of a lot of different services, with some LG-specific tweaks thrown in.

Check out the charts down below to see how these puppies compare on paper. One area where we’ll spend a lot of time when the G4 hits is the camera. LG said it spent a lot of time refining the G4’s camera, and we’re curious to see if indeed it’s the best and most powerful on the market, as LG claims.
