Resident Evil Revelations 2 gets online co-op on Xbox One, finally

Resident Evil Revelations 2 on Xbox One finally has online play in its Raid Mode about a month after the last episode finally hit.

This comes as part of an update hitting all platforms upon which Revelations 2 has been released that adds new costumes for a few characters, shown in the gallery above.

Capcom has apologized for the delay in getting Raid Mode’s online element working by crediting Xbox One players signed up for ResidentEvil.net accounts with 20,000 RE points. That assumes that you’d already signed up for one of those accounts instead of just skipping past it each time, and that there’s something you actually want to use those points for. Which, as far as I can tell, is free gold or boxes of gun parts – nothing like costumes or weapons.

It’s not much of an apology, but at least they have the mode working now so that we can finally use it.

The new costumes include, in order, Lottie, Rachel, Lady Hunk, and Mutant Pedro.

The update should be available on Xbox One already, and very shortly on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360, with PlayStation 3 to follow.
