Verizon to sell LG Watch Urbane for $350, leak reveals

Verizon will begin selling the new LG Watch Urbane this month, a leaked internal document has revealed, and the device will be priced at $349.99.

After the Watch Urbane’s initial unveiling at Mobile World Congress in early March, LG last week confirmed that the device would make its official debut over the coming weeks, starting in South Korea, then rolling out worldwide via the Google Store.

According to a leaked Verizon document obtained by AndroidSpin, the device will also be available from some carriers.

The image below confirms the wearable’s price tag of $349.99, while “a source” familiar with Verizon’s plans says the device will be available on Tuesday, April 28.

It’s worth noting that this is the Android Wear version of the Watch Urbane — not the LTE-equipped model, which is powered by LG’s own webOS platform (and is more expensive).

The Watch Urbane, like the LG G Watch R that came before it, is a modern smartwatch that is designed to look like a traditional timepiece. It has an all-metal chassis with a round display, and it comes with a 22mm leather strap as standard.

Specifications include a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 410mAh battery, and W-Fi connectivity. The Watch Urbane is also IP76-certified for water-resistance.
