Avalanche Studios has released a brand new trailer for their upcoming take on Mad Max, and it features more than four minutes of cutscenes, gameplay and discussion.
The trailer takes on what’s become the standard tone of explanation rather than a constant flash of sizzle. The narrator talks about how you’ll need to build your car, upgrade your equipment and abilities and a bit of who you’ll encounter on Max’s insane adventure.
The game looks incredibly brutal as Max doles out all sorts of violence in the wasteland. And was that the Thunderdome!?
What looks especially interesting is Max’s need to scavenge and hunt for scrap and spare food. Pulling apart bits of metal and feasting on dog food both look intense for their own reasons.
Mad Max will sell for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms starting on Sept. 1, 2015. We’ll have more on the game as it comes.
