Stream the Star Wars Celebration right here

Can’t make it to the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California? We’ll be there!

If you are unable to attend, you’ll at least be able to pretend like you’re there. Because the stakes are so high this year, the big opening keynote on Thursday is being live streamed for the first time, along with highlights and “more than 30 hours of exclusive video content.”

I hope the exclusive part is short-lived, because I’m really anxious to see the new trailer (if one is indeed shown off today).

Kicking off the live stream will be a panel that features J.J. Abrams, who is directing Star Wars: The Force Awakens, along with producer Kathleen Kennedy. After that, coverage will continue on through the next few days, concluding this Sunday when the event wraps up. Online viewers will be able to see discussions with actors like Mark Hamill, Carrier Fisher, Anthony Daniels and several others who are associated with the Star Wars universe.

Those who live stream might wind up with the better part of the deal here; you’ll be able to see some of the best panels and discussions without suffering through the crowds and long bathroom lines. I’m starting to re-think whether or not I should go.

Live streaming kicks off this morning at 10 a.m. PDT, and will close this Sunday, April 19, at 3:30 p.m. PST. Below you can watch The Force Awakens trailer we saw from last year, along with several images from the film.
