Project CARS has been a long time coming, but we finally have a release date. Probably. We hope.

The game was initially set to release this past November. It was disappointing to see it delayed, but releasing in the middle of the rush of other racing games – Forza Horizon 2, Driveclub, and even Ubisoft’s The Crew would’ve been way past overdose. At nearly the last minute, though, the game was delayed into this year. In January, we were given a March release date, which turned into a vague May release date about a month later.
With May 8 less than a month away, it’s almost impossible to imagine Project CARS getting pushed back again. We should have Slightly Mad Studios’ take on formula and prototype racing in our hands pretty soon, when the game comes to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 8.
